Why we chose the Anglicised 2011 New International Version (NIV)

We wanted a translation that was accessible and inclusive, whilst also being as faithful to the text as possible. The NIV fits the bill! It has been called an 'evergreen translation' because of its rigorous and continuous translation process. The NIV began its journey in the '50s with the desire to create a new Bible translation that would faithfully capture the Word of God in contemporary English. Find out more about the NIV story here.
